PIEDMONT HENRY HOSPITAL - IMAGING DEPARTMENTImaging jobs at Piedmont Henry offer the opportunity for you to work inastate-of-the-arthospital featuring theverybest equipment, great staff, flexible scheduling,and a great work environment. OurImagingdepartment hastheir own transporters and patient lift equipment to help move patients for imaging exams.We have8, 10 and 12hour shiftsas well as weekend option pay.Our department includes X-ray Techs, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, Mammography Techs, Interventional Radiology Techs, OR X-ray Techs, Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RN’s, PA’s, and Radiologist.We are a259-bedhospital, a level III trauma center, a level III neonatal intensive care unitand stroke certified. Our Emergency room sees about100,000 patients a year.Our Imaging department consist of the following:X-ray 3 Routine Rooms & 2 FluoroRooms (86,000 exams per year)CT 4 CTSiemensrooms (72,000 exams per year)MRI` 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams per year)Ultrasound 3SiemensRooms (21,000 exams per year)Breast Health Center 4HologicDiag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 per year)IR 1GERoom (2,500examsper year)Outpatient Diagnostic Center CT,MRI, Mammography & X-ray(11,000 exams per year)Surgery (OR) 5 GE OEC C-ArmsCSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedationPerforms and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead MRI Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of MRI equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.EducationGraduate of Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program. Required Work Experience3 years of technical experience Required and Experience in leadership of personnel Required Licenses and CertificationsMRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with certification in MRI Upon Hire Required andBCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Piedmont Henry Hospital
