Learn more atwww.rmsmachining.comandwww.cretexmedical.com.Saw Operator SummaryThe Saw Operator will be responsible for set up, operation, and maintenance of multiple CNC-based saws. This role will perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided.2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Training on 1st shift 6:00am to 2:30pm for up to 90 daysMaterial Handling Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and set-up (calibration, cleaning etc.) bandsaw, cold saw, and latheControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. feed & speed)Feed raw material into machinesInspect parts and raw materials with precision and measuring toolsPerform basic preventative maintenance on saw equipmentRead and interpret basic blueprintsOperate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift and other moving equipmentEnter production information into the ERP system/internal tracking logs on a timely basisAccurately records and reports hours worked Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when requiredSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properlyParticipate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S)Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Complete all other work duties as assignedMaterial Handler Position RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExperience working with a CNC interfaceAbility to work in a manufacturing environment, around machinery that may be exposed to and around oils & solventsAbility to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents Mechanical AptitudeDexterity and hand and eye coordinationMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detailOrganizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskAbility to lilft up to / over 50 pounds frequentyrms Company Benefits As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
