Includes performing basic troubleshooting and maintenance work on automation equipment. Also includes performing maintenance, set-up and PM on automation equipment.Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repair/maintain all equipment and machinery including trim presses, extruders, formers, crystallizers, dryers, conveyors, and grinders.Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades.Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy.Follows all Company established rules and policies.Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations.Perform Maintenance Connection day-by-day duties.Be able to work in all areas of production.Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent3 + years automation technician experience within the manufacturing industry, or related experienceMust be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), welding and fabrication experience is a plusPrevious electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilitiesPrevious mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Knowledge of PLCs is preferredMust have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectivelyAbility to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essentialFlexibility to work overtime.#INDFGRWhat You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
