We warmly welcome individuals of similar mindset to join our ranks.What Youâll Be Doing:As a Production Assembly Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting electromechanical products. In addition, your role will include aiding the development of work instructions and constantly striving to bring our product offerings to the highest level of quality, reliability, and value.What Your Day to Day Is:Assembling and testing electromechanical products while carefully following work instructionsTroubleshooting small electromechanical products such as cameras, sensors, and integrated logic modulesTroubleshooting processes and test equipmentProperly documenting issues that arise during the manufacturing process, such as failures, assembly problems or anomalies, or tooling malfunctionsRecording data and photos as required to create historical records of your workInterpreting engineering prints and schematicsInterpreting and developing production documents such as work instructions and checklistsCollaboratively working in a cell with 1-3 other Assembly TechniciansSupporting all safety and quality initiatives including 5S, ESD, FODSupporting process improvements and developing leadership skillsPerforming other related duties as requiredWhat You Should Be:Able to work with small hand tools to properly assemble intricate electrical components utilizing small hardware and connectors.Able to excel within a cross-functional team environmentProactive and action-oriented; working the details as necessaryPossessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.Able to lift more than 40 lbs.Carnegie Robotics LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes applications from all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable laws and Carnegie Roboticsâ employment policies.
