Technologists typically perform duties independently while following established company procedures and clinical protocols . This role requires compliance with Florida Department of Health credentialing regulations and adherence to industry standards for CT imaging practices. Key Responsibilities Patient Care + Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process + Educate patients and family members about CT procedures + Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and mobility using proper body mechanics + Ensure services are appropriate for the patientu2019s age and medical condition + Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Imaging & Technical Responsibilities + Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders + Produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet accreditation standards + Properly identify patient and exam information on all imaging records + Adjust scan parameters to ensure optimal image quality for all patient types + Perform quality assurance testing on imaging equipment Safety & Compliance + Follow all company policies related to radiation safety and OSHA regulations + Complete incident reporting when necessary + Maintain a safe imaging environment for patients, staff, and visitors Customer Service + Maintain a professional and patient-friendly environment + Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times + Address patient concerns and report complaints to the Site Manager + Encourage patient satisfaction feedback and survey participation Professional Development + Maintain active ARRT certification and continuing education requirements + Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification + Provide updated licensure documentation as required Qualifications Education & Certification + High school diploma or equivalent + ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist required + ARRT CT Registry preferred (or ability to obtain within 12 months) + Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association Skills & Abilities + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment + Excellent communication and patient interaction skills + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Physical Requirements + Ability to lift equipment up to 30 pounds + Ability to assist with patient transfers using proper body mechanics + Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare staff If you are a motivated CT Technologist who is passionate about patient care and advanced imaging , we encourage you to apply and learn more about this exciting opportunity.
