Job Title: Line Leader - 1st shift - 20/hr Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Line Leader to oversee operations on a pelletizing or grinding line. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, handling materials, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities + Lead and oversee line operations of pelletizers and grinders. + Use forklifts to move materials within the facility. + Assist in building boxes for material storage. + Load material onto conveyor belts. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols across the facility. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. + Experience in machine operation. + Ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted. + Previous forklift experience. + Familiarity with inventory counting, shipping, receiving, palletizing, loading, and unloading. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Leadership mentality with the willingness to speak up in group settings. + Steel toe, bump cap, and ear protection usage required. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing facility with an attached warehouse area, comprising a total of 40-50 employees. This grinding/pelletizing facility handles industrial and unused plastics. Openings are on the first shift, starting from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, eventually transitioning to a 2-2-3 12-hour shift. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, bump caps, eye and ear protection, with jeans or long pants and a T-shirt. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pandora, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
