Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations in the transport industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with the ability to manage complex tasks and collaborate effectively with various departments. Responsibilities: u2022 Excel HEAVY u2013 heavy in VHX Lookups, editing Macros u2022 Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures to maintain internal controls. u2022 Perform detailed analysis of revenue, expenses, and wages to support financial decision-making. u2022 Assist in the preparation and posting of month-end journal entries. u2022 Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare detailed reconciliations. u2022 Support accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash applications, and AR reconciliations. u2022 Collaborate with team members to gather data and produce accurate financial reports. u2022 Analyze financial records to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies. u2022 Aid in the development and preparation of annual budgets. u2022 Work closely with field terminal staff, operations personnel, and the finance team to ensure seamless data integration. u2022 Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. u2022 Proficiency in key accounting functions, including general ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations. u2022 Strong skills in Microsoft Excel u2022 Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate financial insights clearly.
