Hiring CNC Machinists Machinist in Auburn, Tacoma, Kent WA Pay : $25 - 40 per hour Shift : 1:00PM -9:30PM (Mon - Fri) Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Mill/Lathe/manual Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will work on highly intricate aerospace and space components using advanced 5u2011axis CNC milling equipment. Our organization supports a diverse mix of commercial Boeing programs, defense work, and space manufacturing. We focus on both hard metals and highu2011speed aluminum machining and operate a wide range of 5u2011axis platforms, including large gantry and nutatingu2011head systems. Key Responsibilities + Operate 3u2011, 4u2011, and 5u2011axis horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines + Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, engineering specs, and apply GD&T + Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges + Use foundational math, geometry, and trigonometry to support machining accuracy + Set up equipment, including pallets, vises, tombstones, and partu2011holding fixtures Required Experience + Minimum of 5 years of machining experience + Experience in aerospace manufacturing + Skilled in operating Makino MAG3 machinery + Hands-on experience with aluminum components and defense-related machining Preferred Qualifications + Strong ability to interpret complex engineering documentation + Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles What We Offer Youu2019ll be joining a privately owned company known for its long employee tenure and strong culture.
