If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking an Associate to join our Enterprise Contracting Center: State & Local Government Team.Responsibilities:Apply an introductory understanding of contract administration to support the day-to-day operations of the SLG contracting team including reviewing and processing assigned contracts within the contract management system in accordance with firm policy, responses to audits and requests for informationDraft agreements and other contractual documentation under supervision by managers/administrators in accordance with firm procedure and guidance for day-to-day useMaintain formal contract records in accordance with established policy and procedures; proactively identify processing issues, for example, unfamiliar non-standard language and provide solutions or escalate to leadership as necessaryIdentify opportunities for innovation within tasks and processes that contribute to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the workgroupFacilitate communication with appropriate internal parties, including finance, Office of General Counsel, and external partiesAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum one year of recent operational and business experience with contract management; preferably within a large IT environment, professional services firm, or similar environmentBachelor's degree from accredited college or university or one year of equivalent work experience in contracts management requiredIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; able to work collaboratively with the team as well as independently; ability to excel in a dynamic, customer service-oriented environmentGeneral knowledge of contract management and related processes.
