Job Title: Mechanical Engineer V Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating and completing various projects and programs. This role requires overseeing all aspects of projects from design development to construction administration, ensuring successful execution and optimization using project management platforms. Responsibilities + Coordinate and complete projects and programs, overseeing all aspects. + Manage project execution including design development and construction administration. + Implement and optimize project management platforms such as Smartsheet and Procore. + Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress. + Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status. + Lead and direct the work of cross-functional teams. + Plan and accomplish goals using extensive experience and judgment. + Demonstrate creativity and latitude in project management. Essential Skills + Project Design and Construction Lifecycle Management expertise. + Team Management and Coordination. + Technical Proficiency in project management tools like Smartsheet and Procore. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Quantifiable project success metrics. + Experience with multiple project management platforms. + Advanced construction administration experience. + History of progressive responsibility in project management. + Experience in strategic decision-making. + Evidence of team development and mentoring capabilities. + Experience in project reporting to management. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite in Virginia, requiring active collaboration in a dynamic work environment. The role involves using various project management tools and engaging with diverse teams to ensure project success. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA.
