Registered Nurse - Operating Room

What We Offer Schedule: PRN - hours could be available any day of the week Location: Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC; At 266 beds, Rowan is Novant's 4th largest hospital and has been serving the area since 1936. As an Operating Room RN at Novant Healthu2019s Rowan Medical Center, youu2019ll be trusted to deliver expert care to our patients during surgery. From circulating, equipment set up, and managing the OR, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most. This role is ideal for experienced RNs looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team. + A dynamic PRN opportunity with exposure to a wide range of surgeries + Work/life balance with PRN flexibility + Inclusive culture grounded in teamwork, trust, and shared purpose What You'll Do + Circulating in the OR + Patient positioning during surgery + Ensure equpiment is set up properly + Managing the OR during surgery + Understand what the procedures are and what equipment is needed by the surgeon What We're Looking For + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. + Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. Two years experience in the OR strongly preferred. + Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Why Choose Novant Health?
