Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Storeroom Attendant in East Peoria, IL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. If this role sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now Whatu2019s in this position for you? + Pay: $ 17.00hr + Shift/Hours: Monday u2013 Friday, 3rd Shift (10:00pm u2013 6:20am) + Weekly Paycheck + Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter Job Description : The Storeroom Attendant is tasked with fulfilling daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : + Process cash movements under strict internal and external deadlines. + Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product, goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and other containers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. + Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items; places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes; arranges storage to optimize space. + Issues product, goods, tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintains accurate records for issued and returned items. + Enters data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries. + Requests requisitions to replenish inventory. + Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cycle counts and prepares report results. + Delivers tools or equipment to associate work locations. + May repair, service and lubricate tools and equipment as required. + Performs other related duties as requested. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered: + 6+ months of relevant experience + Exp in loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse + Forklift/Cherry picker experience strongly preferred + Experience maintaining inventory in a warehouse environment strongly preferred + Basic computer proficiency and demonstration of mathematical skills + Must be able to lift up to 25lbs or more and regularly stand, walk, kneel, bend, and climb throughout your shift IMPORTANT: This job is being recruited for by Adeccou2019s National Recruitment Center, not your local Adecco Branch Office.
