QC Chemist u2013 Ferndale MI Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, contract-to-hire QC Chemist in the Ferndale, MI area. Responsibilities: + Assist with taking production batched samples and test for quality against certain specifications + This position will also suggest batch adjustments for production as well + Ability to operate/troubleshoot the following Instrumentation/techniques: titrations, pH meters, AA, HPLC, UV, and ICP Qualifications/Education/Skills: + Bacheloru2019s degree in a chemistry or science discipline with some applicable analytical experience required. + _No industry experience required but two years of industry experience preferred; if not industry experience, however, must have relevant experience with aforementioned instrumentation such as AA, HPLC, UV, ICP, etc._ + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit accuracy + Comfortable working with/around concentrated acids and using required PPE. + Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. + Ability to work in a close-knit group and great personality; team player + Ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Pay : $20 - 22/hr and based on experience u2013 this position does have potential for growth over time.
