The Senior Manager / OTC (Order to Cash) in the SAP IT Center of Excellence (COE), will collaborate with IT Functional leaders, industry experts and vendors to implement and deliver technology and service solutions that achieve business operational outcomes and strategic goals. The Senior Manager will coordinate across various shared services groups within IT and other IT functional areas to successfully align, integrate, operate and support new and existing capabilities for Otsuka and our affiliates in the OTC and other related domains. The OTC Senior Manager will have the following responsibilities. + SAP S4 Technology and/or OTC Service Domain, Platform management and oversight + Technology and/or Service Management and Optimization + Deep Subject Matter Expertise in the core OTC processes and integration with other domains such as Finance. + IT Connector + Vendor Management At Otsuka, we defy limitations, so that others can too. Core Responsibilities include but not limited to the following: + Technology / Service Management: Collaborate and partner with the business, IT Functional Leaders, Business Partners, industry experts and vendors to implement, enable and support strategic technology and service programs and projects for relevant domain(s). Manage business and IT Business Partner expectations, ensure alignment to technology and service management requirements and technology/service standards. + Business Process and Technology Strategy: Implement defined strategy for relevant technology/service domain in alignment with strategic business goals and objectives. Understand their specific domain(s), the leading technology and/or service providers and how to apply, effectively and appropriately. Collaborate with Associate Director, Senior Architect to implement and operate business aligned IT technology/services addressing operational contingencies. Identify technology and service improvement opportunities, ensure alignment with leading practices and technology-enabled improvement opportunities. + Technology/Service Analysis: Direct and oversee Managed Service Providers, Contract Workers to conduct technical/service reviews, enhancements and delivery. When applicable, the Architect will partner with Business Partners evaluating Root Cause Analysis, Service challenges/opportunities/enhancements. + Subject Matter Resource: Provide SAP S4 technology/service management expertise and working knowledge in the OTC domain to assist in evaluating, implementing and optimizing processes and execution. Maintain awareness of industry trends and provide recommendations to facilitate decision making and have knowledge in multiple functional areas. Have very good hands-on knowledge in configuration of processes in Order management, Shipping, Billing sub areas in the OTC domain and their integration with Finance and other domains. Will be involved in 30 to 40% of hands on work in the SAP system. + IT Connector: Understand who to engage for internal IT products/services to achieve business value. Know IT strategic platforms and drive business partners towards u2018standardu2019 platform solutions. Provide business updates on new IT products/services. + Vendor Management: Lead vendor and partner evaluation, selection, and management for assigned areas with oversight from Principal Architect, working with IT Vendor Management team for assigned services and projects. Qualifications Knowledge/ Experience and Skills: + Minimum of 6+ years in the Life Sciences industry with a strong focus on Order to Cash (OTC) processes. + 10 plus years of overall SAP experience, including 5 plus years in SAP S/4HANA cloud solutions in the Order to Cash (OTC) domain, and implementation in the pharmaceutical industry + Insights and knowledge of leading technology trends and best practices which are improving the processes and strategic decision making in supported areas. + Good knowledge of key SAP S4 Hana processes within the Order to Cash area like Order management, Shipping, Billing processes. Should be familiar with regulations like CFR Part 11, governing the pharmaceutical industry. + Hands-on experience integrating OTC processes across Finance /RTR (Record to Report), P2P (Procure to Pay). + Broad business and IT capability awareness with hands on experience using or implementing domain specific solutions. + Experience working with globally distributed business and IT teams, especially in Japan, EU and India in addition to the North America region. + Business analyst skills including process design, documentation, problem solving, and presentation skills with the ability to influence, drive action with all levels including senior leadership. + Organizational change management, issues & conflict management, business-technology innovation and transformation experience a plus. + Success in delivering new capabilities in the SAP OTC domain using system development life cycle (SDLC) practices. Should have worked with automated testing tools like Rational, HPQC etc. + Good familiarity with integration of OTC processes with third parties like 3PLu2019s, EDI service providers etc. + Good knowledge and Experience of EDI integrations in OTC processes like Sales Orders (EDI 850), Shipments ( EDI 940,945) Invoices ( EDI 810, 849, 812 etc.). + Up to 10-15% travel is required, based upon business needs. + Familiarity with Change Management tools such as Service Now is a plus. + High level familiarity with AI, ML capabilities and use cases in the OTC domain will be a big plus. Additional Responsibilities + End-to-End Ownership: Drive full lifecycle accountability for SAP Finance solutionsu2014from demand intake through design, build, deployment, and post-production supportu2014ensuring handoffs and complete ownership. + Continuous Monitoring & Improvement: Define and track KPIs for system health and compliance; lead proactive health checks and metrics-driven enhancements. + Automation & Innovation: Identify and deliver automation opportunities across OTC processes using SAP BTP, RPA, AI-driven tools, and emerging technologies such as SAP Joule. + Unified Team Collaboration: Act as a product/process owner for OTC capabilities, managing backlog prioritization and aligning initiatives with business value. + Governance & Documentation: Maintain robust governance for change management, version control, and audit trails; ensure process mapping and documentation at multiple levels for transparency and compliance. Educational Requirements: Minimum of a bacheloru2019s degree; preferably, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or adjacent fields. Advanced degree in in sciences, business administration, or pharmaceuticals is desirable. SAP Certified Application Professional in SAP S/4HANA ( Preferred ) PMP or equivalent project management certification. Minimum $150,034.00 - Maximum $224,250.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting pay for individuals who are hired in the role to perform in the United States.
