Job Summary and Qualifications As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed. Your focus on safety and attention to detail helps protect patients and empowers a team thatu2019s committed to the care and improvement of human life u2013 one surgery at a time. Your responsibilities will include: + Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards + Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care + Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs + Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized + Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries What qualifications you will need: + High School Graduate / GED + Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD required + Prior related experience preferred Benefits TriStar Summit Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
