EDI Production Support Engineer

About the role This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining critical production processes related to batch operations and file transmissions. You will work closely with business units, downstream partners, and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution, SLA adherence, and smooth dayu2011tou2011day operations. Your work will directly contribute to system stability, operational efficiency, and overall service quality. In this role, you will: u00b7 Create, manage, and resolve incident tickets related to production batch issues and file transmission challenges. u00b7 Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for all incoming and outgoing file transmissions. u00b7 Monitor and oversee EDI production batch schedules to ensure compliance with established SLAs. u00b7 Coordinate with Business Units and downstream teams to drive resolution of open action items. u00b7 Support change validation and deployment activities for application support. u00b7 Participate in onu2011call rotations, including nights and weekends, as required. What you need to have to be considered u00b7 Handsu2011on experience with EDIFECS u00b7 Proficiency with EAM (Edifecs Application Manager) u00b7 Experience with TM (Transaction Management) u00b7 Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL u00b7 Working knowledge of MongoDB This will help you stand out u00b7 Experience supporting production environments with strict SLAs u00b7 Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills u00b7 Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams u00b7 Prior experience in EDIu2011focused operational support environments u00b7 A proactive approach to issue resolutions and continuous improvement Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $44,550 to $65,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
