This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners to provide comprehensive neurological care to patients within a growing neurology practice. The position offers the chance to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals while delivering patient-centered care and advancing clinical outcomes. Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and neurodegenerative diseases. Position Highlights + Established Clinic, with In-Person & Virtual Visit Clinic + Provide care through both traditional clinic visits and telehealth/virtual appointments , expanding patient access and allowing for convenient follow-up care and monitoring + Excellent Benefits Responsibilities In collaboration with a physician, provide for the expansion of individualized primary health care services by diagnosing and treating certain acute or chronic health conditions. + Obtain patient history and perform assessment via observation, interview and examination. Order, perform and interpret diagnostic studies. Perform preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and patient care. + Provide direct treatment and management of health conditions via referral to other health care providers or community resources. + Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources. + Document delivery of health care and nursing processes in accordance with specific specialty area standards and network nursing policy. What minimum requirements youu2019ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. + Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. + Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition
