Maintenance Technician

Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to be based onsite in Glen Burnie, MD, supporting a range of commercial facility maintenance needs. The technician will be part of a team that manages multiple client locations throughout the region, which includes frequent travel and field-based assignments. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performing regular maintenance inspections, identifying and resolving potential issues before they escalate, and handling urgent repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Daily tasks involve inspecting and maintaining equipment, updating maintenance logs, and communicating with clients about progress and recommendations. While most work is completed independently, there will be opportunities to collaborate with teammates and leadership on larger projects. Additional responsibilities include updating project diagrams, submitting service reports, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This position demands strong technical expertise, readiness for fieldwork, and the ability to travel extensively within Marylandu2014often more than 75% of the workweek. $19/hr to $23/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
