Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support one of our clients in Wilsonville, Oregon. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and audit preparations within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting audit readiness. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and organize financial records and supporting documents for audit purposes. u2022 Track audit requests and ensure prompt responses to maintain smooth operations. u2022 Review financial documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission. u2022 Maintain detailed grant-related financial records, including budgets, expenditures, payroll allocations, and invoices. u2022 Collaborate with finance, grants, and program teams to gather and clarify financial information. u2022 Support with General Ledger management, performing clean up and reconciliations as needed. u2022 Assist with ad hoc daily accounting items, such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Requirements u2022 4+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant or Sr. Staff Accountant. u2022 Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and systems. u2022 Solid experience with General Ledger operations and reconciliations. u2022 Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures. u2022 Ability to create and manage journal entries accurately. u2022 Expertise in performing bank reconciliations. u2022 Familiarity with audit compliance and preparation processes. u2022 Skilled in handling month-end and year-end financial closings. u2022 Strong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex financial data.
