You will develop leading investigations, manage and analyze data andestablishrisk management educational programs for assigned areas. Serving as a member of the local leadership team, you will address unique challenges within the assigned facility while modeling Cleveland Clinic Core Values and behavioral standards. This role is essential to the overall functioning and organization of the Cleveland Clinic Enterprise.A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with two onsite days required each week. This role is also required to work on-call shifts approximately four times per year.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Identify, code, and manage event reports for assigned Institutes or Hospitals.Collaborate with leadership and support teams to develop and achieve clinical risk management goals andaccomplishduties assigned to the corporate enterprise priorities and regulatory requirements and benchmarks.Conduct andfacilitateRoot Cause Analysis (RCA);identifyingroot cause and causal factors of events leading to sustainable improvement.Apply management processes for disclosure of unanticipated outcomes and medical errors.Frequently presents risk and safety data and efficientlyleadsmeetings.Perform all duties under supervision of the department leader or experienced CRMs.Identifycases that may be potential claims andprovidean early notification to other departments (Law, ERI) onceidentified.Present cases to Medical Legal, HuddleI andHuddle IIin a timely manner.Participate in Institute/Hospital CommitteesrepresentingClinical Risk Management.Drive continuous improvement activity around clinical risk management priorities andcoordinatesimprovement projects.Act as the local expert in clinical risk management for the Hospital/Institute.Facilitatethe riskandsafety ofevent data analysis and decision making.Support enterprise improvementprojectsas necessary.On-call responsibilities to provide 24/7 CRM consultation coverage per established CRM department process.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Registered Nurse (BSN)OR Bachelor's degree in a health sciences disciplineFive years of clinical experiencePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Registered Nursing (RN) licensureOne year ofrisk management, qualitymanagementor legal nurse consulting experienceAbility tofacilitatemeetingsPreviousinteraction with all levels within an organizationPhysical Requirements:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.Personal Protective Equipment:Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.Pay RangeMinimum Annual Salary: $76,540.00Maximum Annual Salary: $116,747.50The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
