The Utility Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of utility systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating equipment, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks. Multi-tasking and juggling priorities is a daily routine and with that comes a need for sound judgment. WHAT YOUu2019LL ACCOMPLISH + Operate a loader / backhoe / skidsteer safely and efficiently + Complete groundwork / labour + Understand road construction best practices, grades, overall construction awareness + Maintain a high level of housekeeping + Assist with other duties as required from time to time + Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed. + Monitor utility consumption and make adjustments to optimize efficiency. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. WHAT WEu2019RE LOOKING FOR Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: Previous experience operating utility systems preferred.
