A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the department of Immunology. The goals of this project are to understand the response of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) to treatment with existing and novel immunotherapy agents, relate these responses to treatment outcomes, perform studies to connect observational findings with immunotherapy mechanisms in CLL, and work effectively within a collaborative group to drive forward curative therapies for CLL. The project will include working directly with clinical teams to acquire and evaluate samples from patients using high-dimensional analyses including but not limited to multi parameter flow cytometry, single cell RNA sequencing, and spatial studies. In addition, the project will involve use of CLL mouse models for mechanistic studies, working collaboratively within a group focused on curative therapies for CLL, and other related duties as assigned. All duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with institutional policies, ethical research standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
