Job Description Pediatric Endocrinologist u2013 Clinical Faculty Rush University Medical Center Chicago, IL The Department of Pediatrics at Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Pediatric Endocrinologist. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an established and growing pediatric endocrinology division at a leading academic medical center. We are seeking a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive endocrine care to children and adolescents across multiple Rush locations. Position Details The successful candidate will: + Join a collaborative team of 2 faculty members and 1 Advanced Practice Provider, contributing to both clinical excellence and academic growth. + Provide clinical care across multiple Rush locations, including the downtown Chicago campus, Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, and North Riverside, delivering both inpatient and outpatient services + Diagnose, treat, and manage the full spectrum of pediatric endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, growth disorders, pubertal abnormalities, Turner syndrome, and other hormonal conditions + Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team including psychologists, registered dieticians, certified diabetes care and education specialists (CDCES), and other pediatric subspecialists + Participate in the education and training of pediatric residents, medical students, and fellows in the joint UIC/Rush Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Program + Contribute to scholarly activities, including research, quality improvement initiatives, and community engagement + Participate in division administrative responsibilities and strategic planning for program growth. Qualifications u00b7 MD or DO required u00b7 Active/unrestricted medical license or eligible to license in the state of Illinois required u00b7 Completion of an accredited Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship program u00b7 BC/BE in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology u00b7 Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activities u00b7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively in a team-based environment u00b7 Mid to senior-level experience preferred Rush University System for Health is an academic health system integrating patient care, education, research, and community partnerships to improve health in diverse communities.
