Summary: Chaplain will support mission of the institution by providing timely, high quality spiritual care to patients, families, friends, and staff, providing in-service and student instruction; participating in research, maintaining collegial relationships with other faculty/staff, and contributing to the larger community. Other information: Required Job Qualifications: u2022 Previous Clinical Pastoral Education Training. u2022 Graduate of Accredited College/University. Preferred Job Qualifications: u2022 Graduate of accredited theological school. Responsibilities: 1. Provide routine spiritual assessment, intervention and care for neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult or geriatric patients, families/friends, and staff as needed or assigned according to all policies and standards set forth by department guidelines. 2. Participates in prescribed CPE curriculum. 3. Provides 24 hours on-call as needed. 4. Participate in patient-care rounds. 5. Lead patient/family support group(s) as appropriate and needed. 6. Provide in-service education. 7. Attend morning on-call report. 8. Maintain daily statistical records. 9. Maintain regular chart notes on all patients seen. 10.
