Drive requirements elicitation process for work efforts of all size and complexity. Work in an indirect leadership capacity to influence collaboration, communication and outcomes of various initiatives. Lead work on all phases of systems analysis up to the enterprise level of the organization's business processes and systems. Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements. Serve as a key liaison between line of business (LOB) and the Technology Delivery team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. The key duties of this role are as follow: + Manage master data management process by evaluating the errors created by the system related to the insurance entities being merged and fix them via process already established in the system. + Required to analyze the business issue and provide researched data and co-ordinate with multiple divisional business team and resolve the business process / data. + Required to capture business requirements for MDM process changes based on the data received and analyzed. + Coordinate with eh business teams to gather requirements, analyze data, report back errors and improve data quality and engage them to report back the results. 1. Serve as a key liaison between the Technology Delivery team and LOBs. 2. Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions. 3. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies. 4. Establish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities. 5. Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with appropriate stakeholders to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements 6. Perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions. 7. Prepare user interface diagrams, business process and workflow diagrams in support of small work requests (enhancements) or large scale project implementations. 8. Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed. 9. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to develop acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements. 10. Assist/coordinate pre-planning activities (e.g. business case, project estimate, project risk assessment, stakeholder analysis, draft charter). 11. Facilitate routine meetings with business stakeholders to provide updates on in-flight initiatives. 12. Attend business unit management meetings, as needed. 13. Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects. 14. Observe and ensure strict adherence to all Technology and Truist Insurance Holdings policies and standards (e.g. Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management). 15.Coach and mentor junior level Business Analysts. Specific activities may change from time to time. Required Qualifications: 1. Associateu2019s degree in Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training; should have insurance industry experience 2. Two years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development 3. Two years of experience as a business analyst or related role/experience, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management Relationship Management, Business Operations, or Quality Management 4. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team 5. Experience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies work requests/project requirements 6. Strong presentation, verbal and written skills 7. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints 8. Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels 9. Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment 10. Strong ability to resolve conflicts, excellent facilitation and organizational skills 11. Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 12. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products 13. Knowledgeable of core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
