Data Privacy Consultant

Description We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy Consultant to support and advise our client. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while supporting the development of a new, data-driven product line. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in the service industry. Responsibilities: u2022 Collaborate with the product team to implement privacy-by-design principles throughout the development lifecycle. u2022 Assess and ensure compliance with applicable privacy regulations and requirements. u2022 Serve as a trusted advisor for privacy-related matters, providing expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders. u2022 Conduct thorough analyses of client data to identify potential privacy risks and recommend actionable solutions. u2022 Develop and maintain privacy policies, procedures, and documentation to support organizational compliance. u2022 Monitor emerging privacy trends and regulations to proactively address potential impacts on the organization. u2022 Offer insights and recommendations to enhance data protection strategies and safeguard sensitive information. Requirements u2022 Strong expertise in data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, or similar frameworks. u2022 Proven experience in implementing privacy-by-design principles within product development. u2022 Ability to analyze and interpret complex data privacy requirements. u2022 Excellent communication skills to effectively advise and collaborate with diverse teams. u2022 Familiarity with data protection tools and methodologies. u2022 Experience in drafting and maintaining privacy policies and documentation. u2022 Solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to data privacy.
