This role is responsible for supervising and coordinatingthe activities of production team members including fabricators, welders(sub-arc, hex-chrome, fit-up/tack, 3/32 flux core), inspectors, machinesetters and operators, assemblers, and precision workers. The ProductionSupervisor carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance withcompany policies, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable laws.This position plays a key role in driving a culture of safety excellenceand Zero Harm. 2nd Shift Schedule: Supervisor start time: 1:30 PMProduction shift start time: 2:00 PM Participation in a rotating weekendcoverage schedule (approximately every 4-6 weeks) Participation in aholiday coverage rotation as assigned Additional overtime hours may berequired based on production demands Key Job Responsibilities Plan andestablish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meetoutput goals Lead, coach, and develop shop personnel to driveperformance and engagement Enforce safety standards, company policies,and manufacturing processes Maintain safe working conditions andchampion a culture of Zero Harm Review and analyze work orders,schedules, charts, and reports to determine production requirementsCoordinate operations within and between departments Monitor productionand quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications Interpretblueprints, engineering drawings, job orders, and policies for teammembers Conduct performance evaluations and support employee developmentAddress employee concerns, complaints, or grievances in partnership withleadership and union representatives Balance timesheets and review dailylabor metrics Prepare and maintain departmental reports (production,safety, quality, etc.) Oversee equipment and supply needs, coordinatingrepairs or replacements as necessary Promote shop floor organization and5S standards Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift and movecomponents up to 40 lbs independently (40+ lbs with assistance...
