Job Description: As part of the Kerr sales organization, the Sales Development Representative will begin their sales career in a program designed to teach the necessary skills required to be successful in an assigned territory, navigate the sales cycle, and meet or exceed set targets. As part of a team for a leading dental supplier, you will be mentored towards working with existing customers, while growing the customer base across multiple dental market segments and channels. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: u2022 Develop an understanding of who a Kerr Sales Representative is, and what the role entails u2022 Acquire product knowledge of core products through online, in person and in field sales training u2022 Explore learning on more technical product information and competitive activity to gain confidence supporting sales and marketing efforts u2022 Under the direction of the manager, begin mapping out accounts to focus on u2022 Begin to schedule lunch and learns, in parallel to attending product foundation training u2022 Ability to execute scheduled lunch and learn within the first 6 months. u2022 Acquire knowledge on the consistent use of CRM to manage sales opportunities and growth within the territory u2022 Schedule co-travel days to acquire learning required to move towards a field sales role u2022 Support Regional Key Account Manager with pricing submissions and custom catalogs Job Requirements: JOB REQUIREMENTS: u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree preferred u2022 New to sales, with a desire to begin a sales career in dental u2022 Valid driveru2019s license with acceptable driving record u2022 Willing to relocate upon graduation of the SDP program, to take on a sales representative role in an open territory SKILL REQUIREMENTS: u2022 Curious, ambitious, adaptable, and ready to learn u2022 Capable of digesting and verbalizing technical product and clinical information. u2022 Ability to work independently, plan and prioritize workload u2022 Capacity to work collaboratively with the larger team u2022 Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate technical, chemical, and mechanical information simply and concisely u2022 Ability to forge relationships with clinicians, decision makers, and dealer partners to build preference for the representative, Kerr products and the Kerr Brand u2022 Ability to make decisions with consideration to business impact for both current and future opportunities TRAVEL / LOCATION REQUIREMENTS: u2022 Ability to travel including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays up to 40% u2022 Position will support the region: Northern IL, Wisconsin, North/South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana #LI-RJ1 SAL123 Target Market Salary Range: Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
