JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description The primary responsibility of theHealth Screener is to provide coverage in the field ensuring that healthscreenings are completed accurately and on time.Maintain a safe andprofessional environment for clients and employees; perform withconfidence all aspects of a health screening, including specimencollection and processing duties following established practices andprocedures. This is an independent contractor (1099) position with thepossibility of converting to a W2 per diem employee after meetingcertain criteria. Responsibilities: Perform biometric screening atclient sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, BloodPressure and other health screening services based on service packagePerforms basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples andcompletes required quality control. Provide exceptional customer serviceat all health screenings. Maintains accurate, complete, and legiblerecords. Participates in training/retraining and continuing educationprograms as necessary. Complies with all designated safety policies andprocedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protectiveequipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectiousagents. Understands and complies with applicable federal, state andlocal laws.Adheres to quality assurance procedures and goodmanufacturing practices. Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while onevents. Performs other related duties as necessary. Qualifications:Preferred Work Experience: At least 1 year of healthcare experience in aprofessional setting preferred. Physical and Mental Requirements: Liftlight to moderately heavy objects. The normal performance of duties mayrequire lifting and carrying objects. Objects in the weight range of 1to 15 pounds are lifted and carried frequently; objects in the weightrange of 16 to 40 pounds may be lifted and carried occasionally. Objectsexceeding 41 pounds are not to be lifted or carried without assistanceRequires use of phone and PC Fine dexterity with hands/steadinessHandling stress & emotions Concentrating on tasks Making decisionsAdjusting to change Examining/observing details Sitting or standing forlong periods at a time Position requires travel Knowledge: Must beknowledgeable of required regulations and comply with them Skills:Proficient with finger sticks and manual blood pressure.
