Job#: 3025282Job Description:Job #: 3025282Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Technical Recruiter (Strong SATCOM/Space recruitment background) with one of our defense clients, focused on developing and delivering advanced systems for defense and government customers.Project Details / Mission Supported:Their work supports mission-critical programs across U.S. defense agencies, intelligence communities, and international partners, with a strong emphasis on reliability, innovation, and rapid delivery of proven, production-ready capabilities.Location: Colorado Springs, COOnsite expectation: 3 days onsite / 2 days work from homeSalary/Pay range: $40-45/hr., W2Job Description:- 5+ years of full cycle business and technical recruiting experience closing both internal and external candidates- 3-5+ years of experience recruiting in a recruiting agency environment- 3+ years of experience with Applicant Tracking Systems- Proven experience sourcing, engaging, and hiring software engineers/system engineers- Proven recruiting experience for SATCOM/Space roles- Utilize creative, professional, and ethical recruiting methods for identifying and attracting top performing individuals both in response to current openings and on a proactive basis working with internal recruiting team.Position Responsibilities:- Partner with hiring leaders to understand the needs of the business, build and implement candidate generation strategies, and deliver the best candidates for each open position- Build a pipeline of qualified candidates and maintain relationships with active candidate pools to address ahead-of-demand hiring needs- Source and engage candidates using internal and external tools- Manage all candidate communications while ensuring positive candidate experience- Generate pipelines and calibrate regularly with hiring managers and hiring teams- Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels including your external network, job boards, and internal referrals to provide high-quality candidates for open positions- Provide proactive and consistent communication with hiring managers and program leaders on recruitment process, strategy, and status- Ability to deliver outstanding candidate and client service, negotiation, and closing skills- Advocate for both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process by establishing regular touch points and diligent follow-through.- Collaborate with other recruiting team members on initiatives and other hiring needs- Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage time effectively- Experience sourcing utilizing various social media methods (LinkedIn and similar applications)- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal skillsApex Benefits OverviewApex offers a range of supplement benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
