Job Description Location: Chicago, Illinois Business Unit: Rush Medical Group Hospital: Rush University Medical Center Department: CVT Surgery, Vascular Vascular Surgeon u2013 Clinical Faculty Rush University Medical Center Chicago, IL Rush Heart & Vascular , part of the Rush University System for Health network of hospitals, is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join our growing practice in downtown Chicago. Position Highlights: u00b7 Rush Heart & Vascularu2019s downtown Chicago practice is based at Rush University Medical Center , a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges. u00b7 Clinical responsibilities include coverage at Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park Hospital, Rush Copley Medical Center, Rush North & Harlem Outpatient Center, and Franciscan Health in Northwest Indiana. u00b7 Join a collaborative team of six vascular surgeons and four advanced practice providers, along with a strong multidisciplinary group at Rush Copley Medical Center. u00b7 Deliver comprehensive vascular care within a fully integrated academic and clinical environment, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient settings. u00b7 Opportunity to perform the full spectrum of vascular procedures in a new state-of-the-art hybrid operating room, including complex aortic surgery, while actively engaging in teaching and other academic activities. Qualifications: u00b7 MD, DO, MD/PhD, DO/PhD, or equivalent degree. u00b7 Academic credentials appropriate for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level. u00b7 Minimum of five (5) years of post-training experience in vascular surgery required. u00b7 Completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery fellowship. u00b7 Board certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). u00b7 Illinois medical license preferred or eligibility for licensure. u00b7 Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and collaborative, team-based care.
