Facilities Multiple Services Specialist Manager

Overview This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spiritu2019s Commercial Business Units (u201cSpirit Commercialu201d). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeingu2019s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercialu2019s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities Position Responsibilities: + Lead production facility layout planning, site seating strategy, and infrastructure planning to support operational and production needs + Manage and develop a team responsible for facilities planning and coordination activities + Oversee capital expenditure planning, project tracking, and reporting for facilities related initiatives + Serve as the focal point supporting Boeing Wichita integration efforts for Global Real Estate and Facilities workstreams + Partner with cross functional teams including Quality, Assembly, Procurement, Supply Chain, Machining, and Facilities to support site planning and operational initiatives + Provide leadership and direction for facility related projects to ensure alignment with business priorities and operational requirements + Monitor project progress, manage risks, and communicate updates to senior leadership + Identify opportunities for facility improvements that increase operational efficiency and support production growth + Support long-term facility planning initiatives and campus space utilization strategies Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): + Bachelor's degree in business or a related field + Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience managing people, teams, or major cross functional projects + Experience leading and developing team members in a professional environment + Experience collaborating with cross functional teams in a manufacturing or operational environment + Experience presenting project updates and strategic initiatives to senior leadership + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): + Knowledge of the Wichita Boeing Campus + Experience with facility layout planning, infrastructure planning, or space planning initiatives + Experience supporting facilities, operations, or capital improvement projects + Experience working in an aerospace or manufacturing environment Drug Free Workplace: We are a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $88,250 - $135,300 Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit AeroSystemsu2019 Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.
