Some of our favorites being Pedal the Cause, KIDstruction, Big Brothers Big Sisters and moreResponsibilities:- Develop, maintain, and manage 3D models of electrical systems using Autodesk Revit.- Collaborate with, and at times lead, VDC team members to plan and execute project workflows and deliverables.- Produce detailed electrical drawings for submittals, installation, and prefabrication.- Participate in coordination meetings and work with other trades to identify and resolve clashes.- Support project teams with model reviews and generate model-based material takeoffs as required.- Maintain accurate, up-to-date project models throughout all phases of construction.- Coordinate closely with field teams to align models with construction means, methods, and schedules.- Assist in resolving constructability issues through model-based solutions.- Generate record drawings and as-built models as required.- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of VDC standards, tools, and workflows within the company.Work Environment:OfficeNon-OfficeQualifications:- Minimum 2+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, electrical construction, or a related field.- Proficient working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.- Strong understanding of electrical systems, conduit routing, and construction practices.- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Ability to take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working design documents- Technical proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam- Proficient in reading construction design drawings: Architectural, Structural, Electrical, MechanicalAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
