FTE: 1.000000 Standard Hours: 40.00 Shift: 2nd Shift Details:Monday - Friday,1300-2130 Job Summary: Under the supervision of theAnesthesia leadership, the Anesthesia Associate assists withoperating/procedural room turnover is accountable for the stocking anddistribution of all anesthesia supplies. This position is alsoresponsible for the cleaning and processing of anesthesia carts andequipment and for any other related duties. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1year of hospital experience is required. In lieu of hospital experience,enrollment in a health care higher education program is required.Experience within a peri-op environment is preferred. EDUCATION: HighSchool diploma or equivalent is required. LICENSURE: American HeartAssociation (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS)or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 30 days ofhire/transfer into role. SPECIAL SKILL: Able to work in a teamenvironment. Critical thinking skills required Flexibility to adapt tourgent situations and change. Ability to cope with pressure. Ability toorganize, prioritize tasks.
