Overview UWCredit Union is seeking a talented professional to join our growingCommercial Lending team to manage and expand a commercial loanportfolio. The Senior Commercial Loan Officer acquires lending anddeposit relationships connected to multifamily (over 5 units) and1-4-unit rental properties. The Senior Commercial Loan Officeridentifies and builds relationships to establish a continuous pool ofnew members and lending opportunities. They must possess and demonstratestrong financial analysis and underwriting competency when sourcing andreviewing lending opportunities to balance credit risk with loanpricing. We are specifically looking for a Loan Officer that has atleast four (4) years of experience managing a portfolio of CommercialReal Estate loans while also consistently sourcing new loan & depositrelationships, as well as prior experience as a Credit Analyst. Thisperson will immediately inherit a sizable loan portfolio and can lookforward to a robust Incentive plan. In addition to bringing in newrelationships and members to the credit union, they are expected toprovide superior member service to existing and prospectiverelationships, and to act as a trusted advisor to members as it relatesto financing and strategy for the member's overall real estateportfolio. This includes collecting member and guarantor financialinformation in a timely manner to ensure underwriting for new loans canbe quickly and efficiently completed and annual/periodic reviews arecompleted as scheduled for existing members. Maintaining a strongunderstanding of the UWCU Commercial Loan Policy and industry bestpractices will be required to ensure all policy and compliancerequirements are met initially and throughout the life of the loan.
