Key job responsibilities The Battery Technician II is a skilled production technician responsible for performing intermediate-level battery build, assembly, and test operations across assigned PODs. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in battery manufacturing processes, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The Battery Technician II is expected to: u2022 Follow work instructions and safety procedures accurately and consistently. u2022 Perform assembly of battery build and subassembly. Also assist with ATP u2022 Identify, document, and escalate quality issues, defects, or MRB. u2022 Communicate effectively across shifts and with Engineering, Quality, and Supervisory teams u2022 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. u2022 Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory. u2022 Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated. u2022 Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc) u2022 You will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables. u2022 Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures. A day in the life Shift Start: u2022 Review priority updates from leadership via Slack. u2022 Participate in morning stand-ups During the Shift: u2022 Execute work instructions at your assigned POD. (Battery Build, ATP, or Subassemblies) u2022 Perform quality checks and escalate defects or anomalies u2022 Coordinate with Leadership on any blockers, bottlenecks or safety concerns. The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
