Role Number: 200651073-3401 Summary This is a full-time lithography process development engineer position. Description The process engineer will have significant day-to-day responsibilities in the process development fabrication facility, working closely with technicians and equipment engineers to understand, resolve, and improve uptime, yield, and performance as needed. They will collaborate with the integration team and other process modules in cross-functional activities to complete seamless handoffs from the process development phase to potentially transfer the process to foundry partners and provide support to foundry partners as needed. Minimum Qualifications + BS and a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in semiconductor lithography process engineer + Experience in optoelectronics, III-V semiconductor devices or III-V materials + Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology that can be applied to photolithography processing + Experience with generating, analyzing and interpreting data + Must be comfortable working in a fab environment as well as with chemicals such as photoresists, solvents and resist developers Preferred Qualifications + MS in an engineering degree (Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Chemistry preferred) + Strong photolithography knowledge and hands-on experience of photolithography equipmentu2019s in steppers/scanner, contact aligners, photo tracks and metrology tools (CDSEM and Overlay Tool) + Experience with failure analysis characterization techniques like SEM, XRD etc + Experience with data analysis tools and principles of statistically designed experimentation (JMP, Matlab, Excel etc) + Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to interact professionally with multiple disciplines and work together to prioritize issues and solve problems + Good foundational problem-solving skills with creative solutions and out-of-the box thinking Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
