Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning and Execution- Assist with the planning, setup, execution, and breakdown of Athletics Development and External Operations events, including donor events, hospitality functions, community engagements, and fundraising initiatives.- Support gameday hospitality operations across Athletics venues, including premium seating areas, suites, and donor hospitality spaces.- Coordinate logistics such as venue setup, catering, signage, credentialing, registration, and onsite event support.- Serve as onsite event staff to ensure a highquality experience for donors, alumni, sponsors, and guests.Development and Stewardship Support- Assist with donor stewardship initiatives, including event invitations, guest lists, checkin, postevent followup, and benefit fulfillment.- Support annual giving and special fundraising initiatives such as Giving Days, crowdfunding campaigns, and sportspecific events.- Help maintain accurate event and donor records in the CRM database in coordination with Development staff.External Operations and Administrative Support- Support the External Operations team with daytoday needs related to events, hospitality, and community engagement efforts.- Assist with inventory management for event supplies, promotional items, and hospitality materials.- Provide general administrative and operational support as assigned.Professional Conduct and Representation- Represent the Athletics Department and University in a professional manner at all events and external engagements.- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with NCAA, Conference, and University policies.- Perform other duties as assigned in support of Athletics Development and External Operations goals.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Preferred Qualifications- Experience in event management, fundraising, development, hospitality, or athletics external relations.- Experience working in intercollegiate athletics or a higher education environment.- Familiarity with CRM or donor management systems.Physical and Environmental Requirements- Ability to lift and carry event materials and supplies.- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.Statement(s) of UnderstandingThis position requires a background check.
