Job Description This position serves as a material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics or field purchasing team member supervising personnel with guidance from Purchasing Management, handling critical project material or non-project procurement support for an office, group of overhead departments or indirect procurement category. u2022 Manage critical material orders and supervise personnel at a management level u2022 Ensure personnel are properly inducted in Project specific procedures, systems, protocol, and responsibilities u2022 Facilitate functional/discipline training requirements for personnel, required to effectively execute their role on the Project u2022 Plan and execute the material planning, purchasing, or logistics associated with commodities or engineered equipment, systems, or materials in support of project operations and/or goods in support of office operations u2022 Assist in the handling of complex material planning, purchasing, logistics, or field purchasing functions or plans, and executes those functions within established Material Management Plans, policies, and procedures u2022 Procure engineered equipment and materials in accordance with the Material Management Plan u2022 Other duties as assigned Basic Job Requirements u2022 Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements u2022 Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors u2022 Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job u2022 Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines u2022 Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Other Job Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Qualifications u2022 High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent, however four (4) year accredited degree or global equivalent preferred u2022 Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak) u2022 Working toward applicable professional certification(s) or license(s) u2022 Experience should be primarily in the area of material management u2022 Good interpersonal and communication skills u2022 Good computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs u2022 Good leadership and decision-making skills We are an equal opportunity employer. Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidateu2019s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
