You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to situations with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will work with integrity in a caring, people-first culture.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:- Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.- Be 21+ years of age.- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:- Provide customer service to visitors and staff at a government location by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.- Control access points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized entry, and documenting deliveries, visitors, and unusual activity per site requirements.- Carry and maintain issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and post orders, and complete detailed written reports and incident documentation.BENEFITS:- Armed guard card holders are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus- Great opportunity for Veterans- We now offer flexible pay options like weekly pay and Instant Pay- Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.- Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.- Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.- Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Pro ram.EEO:Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
