Apply today.Shift Opportunity:1st Shift: 5:30 am - 4 pm, M-Th + overtime on Friday may be requiredBenefits Offered:Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, Paid Holidays,Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Employee Discounts and moreEssential Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Perform daily quality in-process checks and documenting/signing off on all tasks- Collect and prepare samples needed for testing- Perform batch record reviews for accuracy and completeness- Initiate daily walk-throughs/audit checks on all processes and checking the premises and GMP areas for compliance with regulation requirements- Complete change controls, deviations, material reviews, and investigations as needed- Implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities- Assist in 3rd party and regulatory audits as needed- Follow all required work safety practices and procedures- Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety, cGMP, food processing, HACCP, and food defense policies/guidelines- Assists in other duties as needed and directedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Quality Technician experience preferred- Good attendance is a must for the QA Tech. This is a skilled position that requires the employee be reliable on a constant basis- The QA Technician will be an example for the line, as such they will need to be honest, dependable, punctual, and trustworthy and follow all established policies/procedures- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out written or oral instructions- Demonstrate attention to detail, orientation to quality, problem sensitivity, problem solving, and ability to take initiationEducation and Experience:- Minimum 1 year experience at a food, dietary, or related manufacturing facility- Must be able to do simple math, conversions (mm in., g-oz), and use formulas- Must be able to read, understand and effectively communicate in English- Knowledge of basic computer data entryThe company has reviewed this job description to ensure that essentialfunctions and basic duties have been included.
