POSITION TITLE Encapsys Project EngineeringManager POSITION OVERVIEW TheProject Engineering Manageris responsibleforleading the engineering organization to successfully develop andexecute capital projects that support the company's strategic growthplans.This position is also responsible for implementing standardengineering processes at all locations that drive execution of capitalprojects in alignment with our stage gate process for productdevelopment.This position has dotted linerelationshipwiththeManufacturing location engineers toensure that approved projects areappropriately staffed andfollow Milliken'scommon engineeringprocesses.The role works closely with the process design team and R&D todefine new process and equipment requirements to support development ofnew products. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Completion of capital projects withinestablished timeline, budget, performance, and safety metrics. Standardengineering processes for project execution are implemented and followedfor all capital projects. Current yearcapital spending aligns withapproved capital budget. Utilizationof external resourceswhereappropriate todevelop solutions and implement best practices.Ensure project execution process is gated and includes theappropriatetoolsareused tofor project execution Engineering tools are availabletoengineeringteam tooptimizeexecution of capital projects. Develop andmaintain a five-year capital plan that aligns with corporate strategicgrowth plans. Build strong relationships with outside engineeringpartners that can help us to effectively execute capital projects bothdomestically and globally. Work closely with business development teamsto align engineering resources to ensure wesuccessfully delivercompanygrowth.
