Circuit Card Assembler

Reference #: CCA0393The Circuit Card Assembler assemblers and solders surface mount and through-hole electronic components onto a circuit board while maintaining high quality standards.Position Responsibilities:u2022 u00a0Install electronic components onto circuit board utilizing basic hand tools, materials and processes including the soldering process.u2022 u00a0May operate machinery to clean and test circuit boards.u2022 u00a0Follow work instructions and router operations to complete necessary work.u2022 u00a0Enter data into company databases to read work instructions and complete operations.u2022 u00a0Interface with Engineers to problem solve or ask assembly questions.u2022 u00a0Prepare components for installation - Form components by hand or automated, bend leads, precondition leads or wiresu2022 u00a0Follow proper circuit board handling procedures while moving components and boards throughout processes.u2022 u00a0Obtain and maintain basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures.u2022 u00a0Responsible for self-inspection of product for any defects prior to moving product to next step.u2022 u00a0Maintains a clean work environment to ensure product integrity and quality.u2022 u00a0Performs other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization.Skills & Abilities:u2022 u00a0Possesses attention to detail and problem solving skillsu2022 u00a0Ability to work independently and as a team player within a small teamu2022 u00a0Good communication and interpersonal skillsu2022 u00a0Basic computer skillsu2022 u00a0Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructionsQualifications:u2022 u00a0High school diploma or equivalentu2022 u00a02+ years experience soldering; including experience soldering 0201 capacitorsu2022 u00a0Fine motor skills and dexterity; vision -- able to utilize microscopeWork Environment:u2022 u00a0Production Environment: u00a0Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. u00a0Hours: 6:00 AM -- 3:30 PM Monday -- Thursday; Friday 6:00 AM -- 2:30 PM with additional hours as needed to meet demand.
