Adecco is hiring immediately for a Statistician (Summer Intern) with a local client in ST. LOUIS, MO Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below + Contract Type: Temp (12-Week Summer Internship) + Pay: Up to $18.66 per hour + Shift/Hours: Monday u2013 Thursday Onsite, Friday Remote (8:00 AM u2013 5:00 PM) + Location: St. Louis, MO (Preference for local candidates; remote considered for strong applicants) Join a world-class R&D Statistics team for a 12-week summer internship. You will work alongside senior statisticians on high-impact analytical and methodological projects supporting advanced pet care research. Responsibilities: + Collaborate with senior Statistics team members on the research and application of general linear models using specialized pet data. + Develop and deploy analytics automation to support Round Robin design workflows in a production environment to improve efficiency and reproducibility. + Present final project outcomes and analytical findings to the Applied Nutrition and Behavior teams at the conclusion of the internship. + Apply advanced statistical training to real-world R&D projects in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Requirements: + Education: Currently enrolled in a PhD program or in the final year of a Graduate program in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field. Masteru2019s candidates will be considered. + Eligibility: Must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college/university for the Fall 2026 term with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027. + Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in R and/or Python; SQL experience is a plus. + Statistical Methods: Solid foundation in applied statistical methods, including linear/nonlinear mixed effects models, experimental design, and power/sample size determination. + Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex analytical and methodological problems. + Commitment: Must be able to commit to 12 full-time, consecutive weeks during the summer of 2026 and be eligible to work in the U.S. for the duration of the contract. Preferred Skills: + Expertise in Bayesian statistics and complex power/sample size calculations. + Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure and/or AWS. + Exposure to AI/ML tools within an applied analytics or research context.
