Description More About the Role: Leidos is seeking an Active Directory / Exchange Specialist Mid to support efforts for the NMCI/SMIT program to perform network engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the Navyu2019s NMCI network. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport portion of the SMIT program, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network. The Active Directory / Exchange Specialist Mid is responsible for monitoring events and incidents that affect server and service health across Enterprise and documenting outage. What You'll Get to Do: u2022Support and manage the operation, servicing, trouble shooting, and account administration of Active Directory (AD), Exchange, Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM), and the Global Address List (GAL). u2022Support the operation, servicing, troubleshooting of Active Directory (AD) and Exchange. u2022Monitor Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP, Domain Controllers, AHDS DMZ and other services using various tools and Microsoft PowerShell. u2022Adjust simple PowerShell scripts and commands as needed for various results. u2022Use VMWare to monitor and troubleshoot servers. u2022Analyze various server and workstation logs to assist with resolutions u2022Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. u2022Utilize internal systems to report incidents to leadership. u2022Take escalations of any alerts/events identified as significant and requiring action. u2022Ensure the Critical Situation Manager is apprised of all details regarding any significant events or incidents. You'll Bring These Qualifications: u2022HS Diploma and 1-3 years of prior relevant experience. u2022US Citizen and DoD Secret Clearance. u20228570 Compliant meeting the IAT level certification requirements. u2022Microsoft Azure Certification AZ-900, AZ-104. u2022Familiarity with ITIL best practices (ITIL Foundations). u2022Knowledgeable on tools used in an Enterprise organization that aids in Event Management; Incident Management and performance Management to include Service Manager, Remedy, Service Now, Helix. u2022Worked in a DOD environment and understands customer communication. u2022Experience in a data center environment. u2022Performs well under pressure and ability to calm end users. u2022Hands-on Experience in working with DoD networks, including NIPR and SIPR. u2022Willing to perform shift work: -6AM u2013 6PM ET -Shift 1: Sun-Tues and every other Wed.
