Power BI Engineer

Description We are seeking an experienced Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization. The Power BI Engineer will work closely with business teams, data analysts, and IT to transform raw data into interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making. This role is critical for enabling self-service analytics, operational reporting, and enterprise-wide data visibility. Key Responsibilities + Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide insights into business performance + Develop data models, DAX formulas, Power Query transformations, and calculated measures for analytics + Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and define KPIs, metrics, and reporting needs + Integrate and transform data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Excel, ERP/CRM systems, cloud platforms, and APIs + Build and maintain ETL pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading + Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across dashboards and reports + Monitor dashboard performance, optimize queries, and troubleshoot data issues + Train and support business users in self-service reporting and Power BI best practices + Stay current with Power BI updates, features, and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities Requirements + Bacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field + 3u20137+ years of experience in Power BI or business intelligence development + Experience with cloud BI environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) + Familiarity with enterprise data architecture and governance best practices Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.u00ae Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
