Description Director of Finance Private Equity San Francisco 4 days onsite Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half Finance & Accounting is partnering with a private equity firm in San Francisco seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the firmu2019s financial operations. This is a highly visible leadership role for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. The Controller will oversee all core accounting, treasury, and financial management functions while partnering closely with the Managing Partner on key initiatives that support the firmu2019s continued growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can operate both strategically and tactically while helping to foster the firmu2019s collaborative culture. Some Responsibilities Include: + Oversee all financial operations, including treasury management, fund wires (inbound and outbound), capital call and distribution calculations, and investment of excess cash + Produce and maintain 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts and annual cash flow projections + Lead the annual budgeting process, including ongoing updates and financial planning support + Manage and oversee the outsourced accounting team, ensuring accurate reporting and operational efficiency + Develop and monitor key financial metrics, management reporting, and investor reporting materials + Maintain oversight of relationships with banks, auditors, tax advisors, insurance providers, and IT partners + Support tax compliance activities, including federal and state income taxes and sales tax requirements + Partner with firm leadership to implement operational improvements and financial best practices Requirements + CPA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred + Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance + 8+ years of experience with at least 3u20135 years in a senior accounting leadership role + Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to research and implement new standards + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics tools + Experience developing financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting + Strong FP& A capabilities, including budgeting and cash flow forecasting + Experience with tax compliance and financial oversight within investment management or professional services environments + Proven ability to operate in a hands-on, fast-paced environment while partnering with senior leadership If you are interested in learning more about the firm, please message Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half on LinkedIn for quickest consideration.
