They troubleshoot, perform maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work including air cooled and water-cooled chillers. Among many tasks, the Area Mechanic u2013 HVAC Refrigeration Tech must be able to repair or replace valves, bearings, belts and sheave replacement, blower and shaft replacement, insulation and damper repairs, motor repair or replacement, pump rebuilding and maintenance of boilers and air compressors. They should have a Universal EPA Certification. Area Mechanic Kitchen Tech The Area Mechanic u2013 Kitchen Tech is more than just someone that knows the way around a kitchen. They troubleshoot, perform maintenance and/or operational procedures in all phases of plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, refrigeration work. Among many tasks, the Area Mechanic u2013 Kitchen Tech must be able to repair soda and beer drink systems, repair commercial kitchen equipment, and know all about the plumbing trade. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property. Basic Qualifications : + 4 years of relative in-field professional experience + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Valid FL Driver's license + Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills + Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices + Ability to work from elevated platforms and confined spaces Additional Information : SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY: Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
