OFCI Field Engineer

This role will assist with the coordination of Owner Furnished Contractor Installed Electrical & Mechanical equipment and materials for, ensuring timely communication, tracking, and documentation throughout all project phases. The OFCI Field Engineer will work onsite and collaborate closely with the owner, vendors, and construction teams to support successful equipment delivery and installation.District Overview The Kiewit Industrial District delivers direct-hire construction services for complex industrial projects across the United States. Location This position will be based onsite inSanta Teresa, New Mexicoafter onboarding. Responsibilities OFCI Coordination Support the tracking and coordination of OFCI equipment throughout procurement, delivery, and turnover. Communicate with owners, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure equipment readiness and delivery aligns with project needs. Maintainaccuratelogs, datasets, and documentation for all OFCI items. On-SiteExecution Assistwith receipt, inspection, and onsite storage coordination ofElectrical and Mechanical Equipment. Support the field team to ensure handling and installation meet manufacturer requirements and project specifications. Identifyand escalate issues related to delivery delays, damage, orinstallationconflicts. Stakeholder Communication Serve as a key onsite point of contact for OFCI information and daily coordination. Participate in coordination meetings with vendors, owners, and project team members. Provide routine updates and documentationtoproject leadership. Documentation & Compliance Maintain clear,accurate, and compliant OFCI documentation. Support commissioning and turnover activities by assembling required OFCI documents, manuals, and logs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field experience preferred. 2+years of experience in construction project coordination; OFCI or data center experience is a plus. Strong understanding of constructionlogistics, vendor coordination, and equipment installation support. Excellent communication, organization, andtimemanagementskills. Proficiencywith project management tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, MS Project). Ability to travel and workonsiteat project locations.
