We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused surgical techs with experience in hospital operating rooms. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiovascular surgical tech experienceCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) requiredCST or CVOR-specific certification preferredCurrent, valid, and active driver’s license required.Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Expertise in assisting with open-heart, vascular, and thoracic proceduresStrong grasp of cardiovascular instrumentation and sterile techniqueAble to anticipate needs of surgeons in complex, time-sensitive casesCool under pressure and excellent in high-acuity environmentsFree from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplaceCertificates, Licensures, RegistrationsCurrent, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a surgical tech in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients
